    Rúadhnait is a straight-faced young woman who carefully keeps her emotions in check, or at least hidden under a serious demeanor. A latchkey kid and forced to grow up too fast to babysit children not much younger than her, she's no-nonsense most of the time and can take effort (or some social lubricant) to relax and not try to micro-manage others.

    Rúa is wary of members of the two other districts, though not immediately hostile, and hyper-vigilant about them pushing into the RD. She is protective of Squares and Ditos she's friendly with, but avoids anything that could get her marked as a Bandito as much as possible since she and her mother rely on her UBI and ability to work in all districts to survive. She is not above some small mischief and misdemeanors, though.

    Despite a rough life, she is relatively confident and sure of herself, and freely offers advice even if you didn't ask for it. She's a little inured to violence and can't always recognize when she's being too rough. There's a sense that she's resigned to her fate, and a bitterness about both the Island's situation, and her own. There's a sense of a necessity to trudge on and try, but it will be a trudge and it is going to suck the whole way and probably won't work.

    But she's dependable if you don't cross her lines and she'll give Squares, and even many Ditos, more chances than she probably should. Rúa is the type to be restless and try to take care of problems before they get out of hand, and it makes her a bit of a know-it-all and control freak, offering advice even if she's not asked.

    Behind the 'anonymity' of her motorcycle helmet, though, she tends to be a show off and a flirt. She can be reckless with her own safety, and isn't able to hold down a relationship. Messy.

    • Rúadhnait can speak English and knows SC's sign language. She also knows how to read and pronounce both Irish and Scottish Gaelic, however she cannot actually communicate in it well. She knows some fun phrases which may occasionally pepper her speech. From past and current friendships and relationships she knows a smattering of French and Spanish.
    • The correct shortening of Rúadhnait is technically Rua, without the accent. Rúa has a different meaning. But she likes the accent so she tends to keep it, and hardly anyone speaks Irish/Galician anyway.
    • She is fascinated by music boxes and regularly recovers and tries to refurbish the ones she scavenges. She has a small collection, and especially prizes ones that were brought from off-island.
    • Rúa runs her own courier business focused on purchasing items only found in one district to bring it to another. She has no problems working with Orange and Purple residents for it, though all customers have to pay up front. Squares and friendly Ditos have a smaller markup than those from PD and OD.
    • Her motorcycle has a virtual assistant named Bike, which is short for Bichael. She gives the Luxe and its workers discounts in order to park there and keep the bike safe from those who would steal it or scrap it for parts. Bichael is made of a mishmash of parts, with speakers for the wheels. It was passed down from her mother.
